Auscott pioneered the establishment of the cotton industry in the Macquarie Valley by establishing its Warren operations in 1967. The site, once a wide open treeless plain, is now an important irrigation development near the town of Warren. Auscott operates a cotton gin at Warren and at nearby Trangie.
